Been to Zagora once, a long time ago. Due to continuous drought the last years, the river Draa is no more. In a recent article, it was written that in a lot of areas in the Draa valley, only 5% of the vegetation remains. Folks need to dig their wells deeper and deeper to maintain their 5%. On holiday after spending time in the desert, it was fabulous to come back to a cool, shaded lush oasis. Pretty weird and appalling, realising that almost nothing is left of what can be seen in the video but a dry rocky river bed.
